Anatomical Torso, Exeter Medical School, 2017

Size: 87x50x228cm

This larger-than-life size cardboard sculpture aimed to engage students from across the different medical disciplines and was funded by the ‘Widening Participation Fund’.  Students collaborated with me and together we made an anatomical sculpture incorporating elements made by the students from the various medical disciplines, bringing them together in a shared event. The back of the torso includes text that is written by students detailing their aspirations for their future medical careers. The final sculpture is permanently exhibited in the Medical School Foyer in Exeter.
